When I started thinking about implementing challenges I will follow, I started it as a weekly challenge. Then I realized, a week isn't long enough to execute long-term progress. Anyone can do anything for a week. Being consistent for a month is a challenge.
The goal after these monthly challenges isn't to only do it for a month and drop it. The goal is to work on this challenge for a month, decide if it works for you, and then decide if you want to keep up with it or drop it.
